Mind Your Body & Spirit Expo

Homeopathy is not about sexual preference! If that’s what you thought, you are not alone in this city. Pittsburgh tends to be a bit behind the times in the arena of natural health care and alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs and surgery.

One national organization, Certified Natural Health Professionals (www.cnhp.org) offers classes throughout the year in Nutrition, Herbology, Bodywork and many others. There is certification for the career minded and continuing advanced classes for professionals and lay person alike. Perhaps you just like more knowledge for yourself about health and healing.

As epidemics of chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, autism and too many others rage on, the failure of “a pill for every ill” and “drug for every bug” mentality is becoming obvious. So where does the average person get answers to questions like “Is organic food worth the higher price?” and” Where do I find a medical doctor who knows about nutrition?” Or how about “What are the risks verses the benefits for having my children vaccinated 30 times before they reach kindergarten?”

If that sounds like you then don’t miss this! The local chapter of the Certified Natural Health Professionals is sponsoring the 2nd annual Mind Your Body & Spirit Expo at the Greentree Holiday Inn on Sunday, September 17, 2006 between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Popular nationally syndicated radio show host, Deborah Ray will be part of the festivities. Featured speakers include medical doctor and radio talk show host Dr. Dennis Courtney on alternatives to medicine, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, a world expert on vaccine side effects, and Pittsburgh media icon Hank Baughman on quantum physics, human consciousness and spirituality as it relates to health.

Forty plus vendors bring you the cutting edge in chiropractic, energy healing, massage and bodywork. Plus products that you just won’t find anywhere else along with information about crystals, organic food and sustainable living. If you think Echinacea is a town in Afghanistan you really do need the wealth of knowledge you will receive at this expo.
